Cabals and Quagmires

The latest from Lawrence B. Wilkerson in the LA Times
Given the choice, I'd choose a frustrating bureaucracy over an efficient cabal every time.

Hear, hear, Colonel.

  1. Interesting article by Wilkerson. Dubya is trying to topple Buchanan as Worst President Ever. Does Bush need a Congressional Act to invade Syria? That appears to be the next screw-up on dubya's impressive list of presidential mistakes. The U.N. Security Council may impede his efforts so he may order a unilateral attack.

I doubt another war would increase Bush's approval ratings but I'm trying to come up with a list of really stupid mistakes that Bush wants to make.

  2. TL,

That might turn out to be a very long list. Syria seems to be the big national security distraction that the Rovewellians will use to deflect the Fitzgerald investigation.

National security seems to be their last trump card.
