Just driving by...
Well, almost taking the weekend off...
If you're of a mind to and haven't done so yet, stop at Congressman John Conyer's site and sign his petition to launch an investigation on The Downing Street Memo.
Sounds good to me. In fact, it is ridiculous that it takes something like the Downing Street Memo to even get investigation going. Clearly there was a problem somewhere in the chain from Bush to those who gather intelligence. I'd like to know where it was, and I think the public deserves to know where it was and whether the admin had any kind of active role in it.
Don't have the link handy just now, but it you go to the PNAC site, you'll find the letters to Clinton and Lott encouraging the military ouster of Hussein.
Among the signatures you'll find are those of Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and (aha!) John Bolton.
