He's Back

He's back. In Biloxi now.

He's down to take a look at the damage first hand.

The federal government is going to help.

Got to stabilize the situation.

There's "compassion" again.

"Give cash."

"Armies of compassion."

"Out of this rubble is going to come a new Biloxi, Mississippi." (What he said this morning about Trent Lott's house).

"The destruction is unbelievable."

On the Guard being in Iraq instead of at home where it belongs:

"I completely disagree."

On what he meant by the effort being "unacceptable."

"We don't have enough security in New Orleans yet."

Things are acceptable in Mississippi and Alabama.

"This is a huge task." (Hard work?)

He intends to "work with the folks to make it better."

"We gonna have a problem this weekend with gasoline."

"We know what we're gonna do, and we're gonna get it done."

"I am satisfied with the response. I am not satisfied with the results."

---

On the rebuilding of New Orleans:

"We're going to listen to people who know what they're doing."

Now that will be a first for this administration!
