Now that the Fourth has come and gone, I'll be throttling back on the writing for a few weeks, partly to refill the well and partly just to rest and catch up with a taste of real life.

ReplyDeleteBack in my day we blogged 20 hours a day 7 days a week, slaving over a hot Linotype which we then used to stamp Hollerith cards which we then had to post to each reader! Did we get to take vacations, Noooo! If we were lucky the boss would let us peel off the lead splatters and eat them for a snack!
Enjoy yourself, Commander. Vacations are a very important part of life.
