What's a human life worth, particularly when it's a poor human? Not much. Even a relatively progressive state like Oregon lowers the axe when it comes to health care for the poor.<BR/><BR/>Seems to me someone must have had this discussion/evaluation at the tippy top. What will it cost to step in and save them ahead of time? And will it be cheaper to wait until 10,000 of them die?
